- INFRARED DESCRIPTION
Infrared is a way of efficiently transferring energy to the target. Infrared irradiation resonates with molecules in the product and allows them to vibrate and heat energy emerges. This heat energy is carried out homogeneously wherever the radiation is seen. Physical and chemical changes can be achieved in the case of the product by heating. Ex; From liquid to gas or to polymerize / harden (combine molecules to more complex molecules).
Infrared irradiation was examined under 3 groups. These are Far Infrared (5-15 watts per square inch of energy intensity effect), Medium Infrared (Energy intensity effect rating is 15-60 watts per square inch) and Near Infrared (Energy intensity effect rating is 200 watts per square inch). The degree of effect varies according to the wavelengths they have. As the wavelength of the radiation decreases, the energy that the unit conveys to the surface increases and decreases the energy lost at the unit distance.
Infrared heating / drying in the industry with the logic of radiation diffusion through the lamps in many sectors heating, drying, food sterilization processes, paint curing (electrostatic powder paint), etc., according to the energy intensity required for the operation of the radiation by selecting the wavelength of the process is made.
